Organization of school-wide art shows in the local community and the installation of the district-wide art show. Developed curriculum sketchbooks for students in K-5 to use across the district.

Fall 2013, Student Teaching, Pittsburgh, PA
Pittsburgh Conroy (Special Education Center) (Aug. 26-Oct. 18) Worked as the lead art teacher during student teaching, working with 153 students, 17 classes a week. All students had a learning, physical, mental, or behavioral disability where I worked closely with each individual student to create art where students were engaged and motor, memory, and life skills to succeed. Lead two permanent collaborative works of art (Imprint painting mural inspired by artist Paul Bozzo and Collaborative weaving). Langley K-8 (Oct. 21-Dec. 13) Taught art in a Public School setting to grades fourth-eighth. Class sizes ranged from 7 to 30+ students, six classes a day. Developed and implemented curriculum that incorporated Pittsburgh Public School District standards.
Spring 2013, Penn State Saturday Art School Designed curriculum and taught lessons to the senior high art classes. Documented class projects through a blog that was updated weekly with photos and lessons. Displayed student artwork in final exhibition.
