Hort Woods Research:
Combining art and science, my time at Hort Woods was spent researching and experimenting with the children through visually representing time. This was done through slow shutter speed photographs. Each time the lesson was executed, it was slightly altered to create new experiment results.
The experiments became a new sketchbook tool for the students, and they were able to control and document their changing results. Technology in early childhood learning is not to be used in place of the teacher in the classroom, but should be used to enhance the child’s learning. Below is my reach and lesson plan along with a link to the video containing different experimentation results that was shared in the imagin-atrium of the school. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z7kcyZzbj2Y
