Teacher Sample - Patterned Paper Stamping
To learn about patterns we used bleeding tissue paper to create our colorful backgrounds for our next project. We worked in the process of water, paper, water pattern. Once the tissue was left to dry, it bled onto our background paper. We discussed many patterns with different colors and shapes for this project. The second day, students used stamps to create their own repeating stamped patterns. Once finished students worked on a worksheet that reviewed all of the key concepts we have learned about so far in the school year, such as, mixing colors, primary and secondary colors, lines, shapes, and patterns. |
